Tour Plan

Day1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

Have an early breakfast and drive to Kidepo National Park using the shortest route (656 kilometers) which will take you from Kampala, Soroti and Kotido via Amuria to the far northeast where Uganda borders Kenya and Southern Sudan. Travel time from Kampala to Kidepo National Park is about 9 hours. You will have an opportunity of viewing some of the park’s animals and birds found close to the camp.

Day 2: Game drive and community walk in Kidepo

After an early breakfast, go on a morning game drive to Kanangorok Hot Springs. Here, a variety of animals and birds can be seen roving around including the fast-running ostrich. Have an afternoon game drive that will take you through the Narus Valley to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopards and the elusive cheetahs. You will also spot a variety of birds.

Regular stops will be made along the way in order for you to take pictures of fabulous wildlife and birds. Continue to your camp for lunch and have a brief rest. In the evening, you will go for a cultural tour of the Karamajong community. Here, you will spend a wonderful evening with the Karamojong people and have an insight into their way of life and beliefs.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala

After breakfast, experience the beautiful scenery as you travel back to Kampala with an en-route lunch. The travel time from Kidepo National Park to Kampala is about 9 hours.
